Produce in the Park is celebrating its two year anniversary, everyone! Somehow we missed the actual anniversary date last month, but rest assured, we will be making up for it with sufficient celebration on Saturday. Seedlings, seeds, worm tea, pastries, a strawberry agua fresca, and even a few surprises are all promised. As always, we will be meeting at Monrovia Library Park (corner of Myrtle and Palm) this Saturday from 9-11am.
We wanted to thank everyone for your support over the past two years and hope Year 3 is just as, if not more, succesful.
Not only will this be a big celebration, but we’re hoping this exchange will be full of various summer produce—squashes, heirloom tomatoes, beans, peaches, plums and of course, the ubiquitous citrus we can always rely on. If you haven’t visited Produce in the Park in awhile, please mark your calendars. And if you’re heading out of town for the 4th of July weekend, make sure to stop by Library Park before you leave.
See you all on Saturday.
