This month's Produce in the Park (PITP) was different in several ways.
Location.
We met at the picnic tables near Mr. Mark Twain.
No table setup. No PITP signs. But people came.
We loved the casual setting so much that we're thinking about sticking to this new location for next month. Stay tuned and we'll confirm the details towards the end of this month!
Produce.
Not much variety in terms of produce this month but people brought some beautiful fruits and veggies still worth showing off.
We also found messages written on a couple of exchange items.
Aesthetics.
People not only showed off their produce (and worms) but also strutted their plants.
Gorgeous aren't they?
Recreation.
We brought the produce and productivity to this month's event.
Check out the action:
Okay. So I didn't get a good action shot, but you get my drift right?
******
Thank you to everyone who came out to this month's PITP. The produce and plants (and let's not forget our worm friends) were great, as always, but being able to just enjoy each other's company is always the "cherry on top" for me when attending PITP.
September
September's PITP falls on Labor Day weekend. Some members suggested extending our September produce exchange to also include a picnic of some sort. I think that sounds fun but what do all of you think?
Email or Facebook us and let us know!
Happy Gardening until then!
