Gone.

Hey.

Have you been waiting at my doorsteps for long?

Sorry.

You must have not seen the 4x4 Post-It with the point 5 size font stuck on my door. It read, "Gone. Bah Humbug. ~Scrooge."

Or maybe the wind had blown it away.

Either way, I didn't mean to keep you waiting.

I'm not the waiting type of person anyway.

In fact, I've recently been a "Living" type of person. I've jumped onto the Living Movement.

Liv·ing Move·ment/ˈliviNG/ /ˈmo͞ovmənt/: Cherishing living in the moment; embracing Life.

So I'm sorry that I've left my camera behind all last month and didn't get to capture and share Life with all of you.

But thank you PitP members who helped me feel Live our December exchange.

The array of produce I gathered not only looked but also tasted amazing.

Persimmons. I waited until my mom and sister were home before breaking out the shiny, smooth hitachi persimmon I got from December's exchange. It tasted like silky, creamy ice cream. Heaven in a bite.

Opo Squash. We tried the opo squash in a stew. The squash was soft. The stew warmed up our bellies and lips. Perfect complement meal to the cold weather.

The above were just two of the sample produce that showed up last month.

The best was being able to bring some of that variety home to share with my family.

FACT: Food always tastes better with loved ones.

So I hope you'll join me in this Living Movement as we step into this New Year. Try "Living" once a week. Try giving yourself and your loved ones a couple of hours in a day.

Feel.

Smile.

Love.

Cheers to 2012,

Yao

P.S. I'll leave the Post-It off the door during our January exchange this week. The camera is back. I can multitask; live and take pictures.

Your welcome.
